My name is Guillermo, and I'm a journalism student. I live in the Basque Country, which is located in the north of Spain, where I also study; in the University of the Basque Country. Sport and photography are some of my hobbies, and for the last years, I have also been concerned with the development of the society and our planet, the Earth.

Sustainable development is becoming one of the most popular issues on media and news. We, humans, chose wrong the direction in which we wanted to go, and nowadays it seems that we need to change it. It's necesary for the persistence of our ecosystems, environment and nature, as well as for animal species, including us. So that's why I think it's important to give voice to all of these problems, and all of the measures taken. We need to stop disrespectful behaviours with our surrounding nature, ecosystems and different civilizations.

Northern Information is a little project with the aim of informing, at least, of a tiny part of the news related to sustainable development. Not just about Global Warming, but also about other social encumbrances, such as social inequalities, or the big issue that concerns us today, Covid-19.
